Recently, Sri Lanka had organized a clothing export delegation to visit Shanghai, China. The delegation leader and clothing export chairman claimed, Chinese weaving machine bring much greater opportunities than threat to Sri Lanka of its reasonable price and high quality. After entering the WTO, there are a very rapid developing of Chinese weaving machine. China will be the main weaving machine supplier of India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Sri Lanka and so on. Sri Lanka Clothing Export Association will set an office in Shanhai to better cooperate with Chinese machine manufacturers.
